Christmas is the time of giving and Patrick Mahomes is doing his part with a kind gesture toward the kids at Children’s Mercy Hospital. The Kansas City Chiefs‘ quarterback recorded a custom voice message which was integrated into a Build-A-Bear made specially for the children.
His wife, Brittany Mahomes, visited the Children’s Mercy Hospital and gifted the bears to all the children herself. He retweeted the pictures posted highlighting Brittany’s visit to the hospital; he captioned the tweet with three heart emojis.

Patrick Mahomes has never shied away from doing his part towards the community. This season, he is one of the nominees for the Walter Payton NFL Man of the Year Award, an honor given to athletes for their contribution to their respective communities.

The father of two has amped up his philanthropic activities and donates more toward programs which support youth. He runs his own charitable foundation named 15 and the Mahomies through which he carries out his acts of service. The organization has contributed upwards of $4 million towards grants and other programs.

Brittany Mahomes has actively supported the quarterback in all his charitable endeavors. The couple contributed north of $1.5 million to the Boys & Girls Clubs of America to better the lives of many children. The quarterback has also partnered with the Make-A-Wish foundation and fulfilled the wishes of 10 children ailing from life-threatening illnesses.

This season, Mahomes has thrown for 3,703 yards, thrown 25 touchdowns, and 13 interceptions. The Chiefs are 9-5 this season and rank atop the AFC West. With just three weeks to go, the team will face the Las Vegas Raiders, the Cincinnati Bengals, and the Los Angeles Chargers.
