But the hype is building around one player in particular, and that is their wide receiver, Kadarius Toney. Even star quarterback Patrick Mahomes sang praises of the 24-year-old.

Toney has had a rough time in the NFL, being sidelined through injuries. But Mahomes believes that Toney has the potential to be special. “He [Kadarius Toney] has all the talent, and he works his tail off,” said Patrick Mahomes. The always-vocal Chiefs quarterback is excited to see what Toney can bring to the table.

Mahomes revealed that he and Travis Kelce are doing their best to keep Toney up to speed. “We are going to try to keep him healthy. He is a difference-maker on the field,” Mahomes said.

Who can forget the 65-yard punt return that set up Skyy Moore for a touchdown? “Y’all saw last year in the Super Bowl,” Mahomes said, recalling the play. “The five-time pro bowler believes “the sky is the limit” for Toney. “He can be one of the best receivers in this league,” he said to the Associated Press’s Rob Maddi, according to Cheifs Wire.
