Watch out New England Patriots, Patrick Mahomes is coming for you. The Week 15 game between the Kansas City Chiefs and the Patriots is bound to be one to watch. The reason is that Mahomes and Co have lost two games back to back. They need this win to boost their morale and get over the slump they have been in.

The quarterback has not kept it a secret that he hates losing. This week, he will aim to turn things around.

Patrick Mahomes recently liked a tweet from the Denver Post, that stated the Denver Broncos have “broken” him but it further went on to state that the quarterback will bounce back with a rather tough response as he does. This response by Mahomes made one thing clear, the man who will take the field for the Chiefs on Sunday will play with a chip on his shoulder and he might even go on to have the best game of his career.

The quarterback has been overly critiqued lately. While he has not played at the same level he is accustomed to playing, it is just a minor bump in the road. Patrick Mahomes is still him. It is not absurd for a QB to have one or more bad games through the course of a season. The team’s schedule to close out the season is not as rough.

Patrick Mahomes is a true competitor at heart

It would not be surprising to see the Chiefs go undefeated from this point forward. Firstly, unless Bill Belichick pulls out a master chess move, Mahomes and Co are bound to beat the 3-10 Patriots. Now add a disgruntled Mahomes who is hungrier than ever and appears to play with a sort of vengeance for the rest of the season and get himself in form for the playoffs, phew, only God can save the Patriots.

The two-time Super Bowl MVP finds himself in a unique position as he is facing the heat this season. The Chiefs lack offensive weapons and have struggled due to a lack of talent on wide receivers depth. This has resulted in the team not being as dominant as it was in the previous years. However, the Chiefs have still held on this season, and the team’s path to the Super Bowl will be harder than ever.

The Chiefs have lost to surprising teams such as the Denver Broncos and the Green Bay Packers this season. The biggest difference between the previous seasons’ Chiefs’ squad and this squad is that the team’s dominance and talent were never in question until now. With that being said, there is another thing that is crystal clear, irrespective of what day or month it is, it would be foolish to bet against a motivated Patrick Mahomes because, despite his baby face, he is a cold-blooded killer on the field.
