Super Bowl LVII will be remembered for years to come and talked amongst the greatest finals ever played. The game had everything one would expect out of a Super Bowl – touchdowns, fumbles, records being broken, oh, and last-minute drama. There wasn’t a single moment during the entire game where anyone was bored. Even the Halftime Show was a treat to watch.

Pop Icon Rihanna took the stage after being away for several years. And as expected, the performance turned out to be out of the world and she did it all while being pregnant with baby number 2! One interesting fact about the Halftime Show is that it had more viewers that the actual Super Bowl and no this isn’t a joke.

FOX Sports released its viewership number for Super Bowl LVII and the matchup had 113M viewers while RiRi’s Halftime Show had a whopping 118.7M viewers. Looks like there were more fans of Rihanna than of Patrick Mahomes. But the performance of the Barbados-born singer definitely deserved the higher viewership.

Kansas City Chiefs lifted their second Super Bowl in four years and their quarterback Patrick Mahomes joined the elite company of Tom Brady and Joe Montana as the only quarterbacks with 2x Super Bowls, 2x Super Bowl MVPs, and 2x league MVPs. The 27-year-old is already on his way to script history and fans are lucky to see a great player become immortal right in front of their eyes.

After the last time thriller victory over the Philadelphia Eagles, Patrick Mahomes was invited to Jimmy Kimmel Live to talk about the Super Bowl. While the two were talking, the conversation shifted toward the Super Bowl Halftime Show. That is when Mahomes revealed that none of the Chiefs players got a chance to see the great halftime show because they were forbidden to do so by head coach Andy Reid.

Mahomes explained to Kimmel, “I didn’t [watch it] but I heard it was great. Coach Reid told us, he said, ‘If you go out to watch the performance, just keep walking because you’re not playing the rest of the game.’” Reid is obviously the old-school coach and he wanted his players to regroup and get their heads straight before they head back on the field to win the game.

This is the polar opposite of what transpired during last year’s Super Bowl. Cincinnati Bengals‘ kicker Evan McPherson was present on the field during the halftime show starring Eminem, Dr. Dre, Kendrick Lamar, and 50 Cent. Granted, he is a kicker, but it really didn’t look good for the Bengals to have their player on the field rather than discussing strategies in the locker room.

After the Super Bowl, Rihanna did confirm that she is pregnant with her second child with ASAP Rocky. Jimmy Kimmel suggested that the pop star name her child after Super Bowl LVII MVP Patrick Mahomes, but Baby GOAT wasn’t too happy with that suggestion. He joked, “My name is taken by my son, Patrick Lavon Mahomes III, so I don’t know if that name is still allowed. She’ll have to think of another one!”
