The Day is finally here! The Kansas City Chiefs and their star quarterback Patrick Mahomes are just hours away from their Super Bowl game against the San Francisco 49ers. Ahead of the decisive game, Mahomes has now addressed the dad bod picture that went viral on social media recently.

During a recent interview with CBS Sports, the Chiefs quarterback Patrick Mahomes was asked by Nate Burleson about the recent dad bod picture that went viral. Mahomes said the angle of the picture made his physique look bad and vowed to take off his shirt in the middle of the game if they ended up defending their title.

I got a bad angle man. I'm saying, hopefully we win this game. I might just take my shirt off right there in the middle of the field. I need the upward angle. You know what I'm. Where they come down. See the chest a little bit.
Patrick Mahomes told CBS Sports

The picture that was taken inside the locker room following the Chiefs’ AFC championship game victory against the Baltimore Ravens became a topic for discussion among NFL fans. Mahomes was trolled by many over his ‘dad bod’. But the Chiefs QB says the angle of the picture made him look very bad.

I know it was a bad picture, but I'm going to show everybody, man. I got a little bit something going - still a dad vibe, but not as bad as that picture made it look like.

Nonetheless, Mahomes and the Chiefs will be playing in their 4th Super Bowl game in the last five years. This time, they are looking to defend their crown against the 49ers and become the first team to win consecutive rings since the New England Patriots did it nearly two decades ago.

Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs embrace being the bad guys

The 2-time league MVP Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City-based football team have won 2 rings in the last four years and have made the Chiefs fans very happy with their performance. But, by always being a contender, they have also made several haters.

Now, they are considered the bad guys, and the majority of the NFL fans are rooting for their defeat in the Super Bowl game. However, Mahomes isn’t worried about being a villain in the league.

That's part of it. You turn into that villain. You turn into that team that everybody doesn't want to win. You have to embrace that, too, in order to be great.
Patrick Mahomes told CBS

The Super Bowl game between the two top teams in the league has created a lot of excitement among football fans. Mahomes can cement his legacy as one of the best QBs to ever play in the league by defeating the 49ers in the big game.
