Patrick Mahomes is one of the most well-known professional football players in the country. The 27-year-old QB was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs and since then has established himself as one of the best in the league.

Due to his insane skills and two NFL Super Bowl wins, Mahomes is one of the most influential football players in the country. This popularity makes him and his family pretty accessible to common people and all of their good and bad things are massively magnified.

Recently, Mahomes’ brother Jackson got into a controversy that saw him get into a lawsuit. Jackson Mahomes was being investigated for allegedly pushing a waiter and trying to forcibly kiss the female owner of a restaurant in Kansas City. These were wild allegations that were swiftly denied by Jackson’s attorney. However, the Chiefs QB has still not spoken on the matter.

“Jackson has done nothing wrong,” Jackson Mahomes attorney said at the time. “Our investigation has revealed substantial evidence refuting the claims of Jackson’s accuser, including the statements of several witnesses. We have reached out to law enforcement to provide the fruit of our investigation so that they may have a complete picture of the matter.”

Although nothing has been proven yet, Jackson is still being massively scrutinized on social media. However, Patrick Mahomes’ wife Brittany Matthews came to his defense and called out everyone for making baseless allegations.

Brittany Matthews, the wife of Patrick Mahomes, has always been vocal and candid about various issues and has often spoken in defense of her husband. However, this was the first time when she defended Jackson Mahomes from the growing controversy.

Matthew was supposedly doing a Q&A session on her Instagram where she was asked various questions about her family. In those questions, someone asked her about her brother-in-law and she instantly went off.

“They are ignorant, he is a human just trying to live his life and find his way and until you walk a day in his shoes (which no one ever will) you have no right to say s**t about him,” Brittany Matthews stated on her Instagram stories. “So it’s best to just shut up.”

Patrick Mahomes is still yet to speak officially about the controversy and is currently enjoying his offseason after defeating the Philadelphia Eagles in the Super Bowl. However, he won’t be worried, as his wife has taken over those duties.
