The Kansas City Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes just finished one of the greatest outings by a quarterback last season. Mahomes won the league MVP award, lifted the Lombardi trophy, and won the Super Bowl MVP award. He also broke the record for most yards by a QB in a single season. And now, he’s preparing to defend the title in the upcoming season.
Amidst this, Patrick Mahomes has made a genius move to work around the NFL rules and appeared in a Coors Light beer commercial. NFL players aren’t allowed to appear in beer advertisements or directly endorse an alcoholic beverage. Just last year, Mahomes appeared in a Coors Light beer commercial only he wasn’t directly endorsing a beer.
Just like that, Mahomes has repeated the genius and this time appeared in the Coors Light “bears” commercial. In the advertisement, the bear was used as a metaphor for the alcoholic beverage in a brilliant move by the marketing people. Like the previous commercial, this time also, the advertisement opened with an acknowledgment of how the Chiefs QB isn’t allowed to endorse beer. Check out the clever ad below!
Furthermore, the advert also joked that all proceeds from Coorslightbears.com will go to the 15andmahomies foundation. The advert went viral on social media and has almost a million views on social media.

Patrick Mahomes is feuding with Ja’Marr Chase and Joe Burrow

The already intense rivalry between Patrick Mahomes and Joe Burrow is heating up after the Cincinnati Bengals wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase took a shot at the Chiefs QB while praising Burrow.
During the Bengals’ mandatory mini-camp, Ja’Marr Chase addressed the media and was asked who is currently the No.1 player in the NFL and Chase had an answer ready to go.
“Joe Burrow,” Chase said. “Everybody knows that. That’s easy. MVP.” Furthermore, after the reporter told Chase that Burrow picked Patrick as the best player in the league, Chase replied, “Who said Pat? Pat who?”.
Ja’Marr Chase was simply showing love to his best friend Joe Burrow but it looks like the Chiefs QB took offense to the statement. Mahomes shared a picture of him with his two Super Bowl rings and captioned it “That’s Who” with two ring emojis.
The fierce rivalry between the Chiefs and the Bengals is not cooling down anytime soon. This back-and-forth between the players has made the week 17 matchup between them an even more interesting game to look out for.
