Watch: “PUSHIN P,” Patrick Peterson and the Minnesota Vikings’ post-victory dance has Twitterati rallying for them

Patrick Peterson was honored by his teammates with chains following his clutch interception.

The Minnesota Vikings are flying high at the moment. The team that has been mediocre at best for a long time now just beat the Buffalo Bills, one of the best teams in the NFL that is considered a serious contender to be in the Super Bowl this year. The Vikings beat the Bills 33-30 in a thriller that went to overtime.

Patrick Peterson, the cornerback for the Minnesota Vikings, had a pivotal role to play in the Sunday Night Football matchup. He snagged a key interception off of Josh Allen in overtime and once the Vikings offense took over from that point; they were able to get in field goal range and close out the game.

It was only fair that the Vikings continued their post-victory celebration that QB Kirk Cousins started last week. We saw Kirk shirtless and iced out with chains on the team plane as his team members all rallied around him. This week, Patrick Peterson was given the honor of being the successor to Kirko Chainz as his teammates iced him out.

Patrick Peterson’s interception saved the day for the Minnesota Vikings:

Kirk Cousins started the Vikings post-victory ritual of dancing with chains, Patrick Peterson continues it this week.

Peterson, whose iced-out name is ‘Pushin P’ now, was enjoying his time on the team plane as he flexed with all those chains around his neck. Of course, upholding Kirk Cousins’ tradition, Peterson was shirtless and his dance was clearly him paying respect to his quarterback’s dance that went viral last week.

Fans loved this dance from Patrick Peterson, while most believe he was well-deserving of this honor, many missed iced-out Kirko Cousins who they believe should have made a comeback last night!

Can the Vikings really do it? Imagine being Stefon Diggs and watching your former team make the Super Bowl. That would not be a pleasant feeling.

PUSHIN P!

This has to be one of the most iconic images of this season.

Made him a believer.

Closer indeed. Closed the game shut and put the nail in the Bills’ coffin!

What a game! What a play!

Kirko Cousins will always be GOATed for starting this tradition.

Hopefully, we see Kirko Chains make a comeback real soon!

The Vikings are looking better and better by the week. Will this team be able to make the Super Bowl at last? Or will Kirk Cousins come up short yet again toward the end of the season? Only time will tell! The more important question, however, is who did it better? Kirko Chainz or Pushin P?
