As division rivals, the Cincinnati Bengals and the Baltimore Ravens share a longtime history between them. And if the current situation are to be assessed, seems like Ja’Marr Chase‘s accusation of the Ravens playing dirty has added fuel to the fire.

During the Bengals-Ravens matchup, a lot was at stake for both sides. Amidst this, the NFL made a controversial decision to decide postseason home advantage by a coin if the Ravens won the game and tied for the best record in AFC North division. But thankfully, the Bengals won the game and clinched the AFC North and the postseason home game advantage in the wildcard week.

The second-year wideout called out the Ravens linebacker Roquan Smith for delivering a hit on him well after the play was ended. “Dude, he did that on purpose. That’s all right, we got something for that,” said Chase about Smith’s hit. He also promised to get back on the Ravens’ defender for the late hit by saying “There’s always get back.”

Moreover, it’s not just Chase who was unhappy with the way the Ravens played, but also many other Cincinnati players called out the Baltimore team including CB Cam Taylor-Britt.  “There was a lot of cheap s*** going on,” he said. “Just know that we owe them. Even though we won this s***, we owe them,” said the rookie cornerback.

The Baltimore Ravens ILB Patrick Queen replied to Ja’Marr Chase and the Bengals players’ call out and said the Ravens won’t be running from anybody. Furthermore, he implied that the Cincinnati team was playing dirty too.

“We’ll see Sunday. If it’s smoke, it’s smoke. We ain’t running from nobody. If y’all think people was doing stuff dirty, and y’all weren’t at the same time. You can look at the film…Whoever has beef with each other has beef,” said inside linebacker Queen in reply to the accusations.

Patrick Queen, Joe Burrow, and Ja’Marr Chase were all teammates at LSU when they won the College Football National Championship. And now, the linebacker Queen will go against them in the wildcard game with some extra motivation.
