PETA lambasts NFL agent Drew Rosenhaus for shocking ‘shark fight’ video in which Dolphins’ Tyreek Hill is also heard being present

Tyreek Hill and super agent Drew Rosenhaus are currently on vacation in the Bahamas. With the ongoing offseason, many players indulge in various activities before training camp.

However, NFL agent Rosenhaus took it a bit too far with his theatrics in the Bahamas. The agent who represents Aaron Rodgers and Tyreek Hill was seen fighting a blacktip shark in open water. 

As expected, the video got instantly viral on social media garnering millions of views and eliciting a plethora of reactions online. Many users even criticized the super agent for harassing a wild animal in its natural habitat. However, when PETA came in and called out Hill’s agent, the issues soon started to trend on the Internet. 

In the video, Rosenhaus can be heard asking the Miami Dolphins WR to jump in the water and accompany him. However, Hill firmly replied, “Hell nah“. Although Hill wasn’t seen in the video, it is expected that WR was present on the boat. 

On the other hand, PETA has criticized Dew Rosenhaus for his recent theatrics and asked him to use his platform in a better way. They also want the NFL agent to show more compassion for the animals. 

“Sharks are wild animals that deserve to be respected, not harassed,” PETA senior Vice President, Lisa Lange stated. “PETA is calling on Drew Rosenhaus to stop wrestling sharks and to use his platform to promote compassion for animals instead of cruelty.”

This is not the first time PETA has called out Drew Rosenhaus

Drew Rosenhaus is an eccentric NFL agent who has many high-profile clients. The agent also handled the recent Aaron Rodgers trade to the New York Jets. The shark incident was not the first time PETA called out Rosenhaus, before this it was the foie gras incident. It is reported that in 2019, the NFL agent supposedly used foie gras in his company’s catering.

PETA decided to call him out because the product is manufactured from the livers of force-fed ducks or geese. This can prove to be extremly harmful to the animals. PETA has called foie gras one of the most harmful foods on the planet. Still, Drew Rosenhaus didn’t acknowledge the complaint and failed to make a comment regarding either of these situations.
