“That’s just not something that’s on my radar,” Former QB Peyton Manning denies all possibility of running for the position of NFL commissioner

Peyton Manning is one of the best QBs to ever grace the football fields. The legendary QB was known for his insane work ethic and was the only one who could compete with the indisputable GOAT Tom Brady.
The Colts legend is currently enjoying his retirement but there’s lots of speculation regarding Manning running for the job of NFL commissioner. When Manning asked about this he simply denied all the rumors and stated, it’s not something on his radar currently.
NFL’s commissioner Roger Goodell has been under constant criticism because of different issues and many analysts have lacked his credibility. People want a change in leadership and who better than the legendary Peyton Manning.
“He’s done a heck of a job,” Manning said of Goodell. “I’m not sure anybody wants to follow Roger Goodell as commissioner. It’s like following John Wooden at UCLA. The bar has been set high. Roger takes criticism, certainly. But I think he’s done a great job.”
Peyton Manning played in the NFL for 17 seasons but thinks that he isn’t qualified enough to take up the role of NFL commissioner. “That’s just not something that’s on my radar. Specifically, because I don’t think I’m qualified to do it.”

Peyton Manning is way more talented than what he gives himself credit for
Peyton Manning is an NFL Hall of Famer who spent 18 years in the league and won two Super Bowl titles, 5 MVP awards, and 14 Pro Bowls. The former QB is also involved in the NFL with a show called ‘Manning Cast’ where both the brothers Eli and Peyton give commentary on football.
Peyton was also asked by the Broncos to take up a leadership role with them as his experience in the game is highly respected. Though Manning still has the time to consider taking up the role of the commissioner as Roger Goodell is under contract until 2024.
Manning has plenty of time to consider the possibility of taking over the role of commissioner and if he decides to take up the role then the Hall of Famer has a good chance of making the votes.
