Danelo Cavalcante, a Pennsylvania serial killer on the run, was captured on Wednesday morning. He escaped prison on the last day of August and was on the run for two weeks. He was wearing a Philadelphia Eagles sweatshirt at the time of his capture.

George Givens, police’s Lt. Col., said that an alarm went off shortly after midnight on Tuesday. An aircraft caught a signal at around 1 a.m., which led them to the capture of Cavalcante in an area surrounded by trees at around 8 a.m. It was speculated that he was a huge fan of the Eagles.

Givens said after the capture, “Cavalcante did not realize he was surrounded until that occurredHe began to crawl through thick underbrush, taking his rifle with him, he resisted but was taken into custody and no one was injured.”

Cavalcante seems to be a Philadelphia Eagles fan, as he is from Pennsylvania. The Eagles have started their NFL season with a win over the New England Patriots in week 1. They will now play the Minnesota Vikings on Thursday in their next game.

The Philadelphia Eagles are Super Bowl contenders this season. They represented the NFC in the Super Bowl last year but fell a little short of the title against the Kansas City Chiefs. They will look to get back to that stage and come out on the other side with a win. They have a stacked roster with a mixture of young talent and experienced veteran players.

The Eagles started their 2023 NFL season against the New England Patriots. They came out on top in that matchup, 25-20. Although they won the game, it wasn’t a great display by the Eagles, as the Pats had a chance of winning the game late. The Eagles held their nerve and eventually won the game. QB Jalen Hurts and the Eagles’ defense played a good game in tough weather conditions. They will be glad to start the campaign on a winning note.

They will now play the Minnesota Vikings tomorrow. The Vikings lost a close game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in their Week 1 matchup. Although the records might suggest that the Eagles should win this game, the Vikings have a good team with arguably the best receiver in football in Justin Jefferson. It will be a tough game for the Eagles.
