Demarcus Robinson, the wide receiver for the Los Angeles Rams, found himself in a rough situation earlier on Friday as he was robbed of his belongings by two armed individuals. The incident took place outside a hotel in Los Angeles as per TMZ. Unfortunately, the wideout was robbed of nearly $100,000 in belongings as the thieves took his jewelry and escaped from the scene.
As per the source, law enforcement reached the scene after midnight and responded to the calls informing them of a robbery in the area. The cops were informed that two men approached Robinson and pointed their guns at him while demanding that he hand over his valuables or they’d pull the trigger. The receiver played it smart and cooperated with their demands and handed over his jewelry and a pretty expensive watch.
The matter is still under investigation. No arrests have been made so far. On the positive side, Demarcus Robinson is doing “okay despite the circumstances” which is what matters. In hostile situations such as these, one can never predict how things could go even after cooperating with the armed robbers. The wideout may have suffered a financial setback but he did not suffer any physical harm.
