Rashee Rice has been in the headlines quite a lot lately, but it’s far from the Kansas City Chiefs or his performance in the Super Bowl victory. It’s over his alleged involvement in a tragic car crash in Dallas which caused many innocent injuries.
However, it doesn’t remain ‘alleged’ anymore, as, after a silence of a few days, the Super Bowl champion finally opened up confirming his involvement in the tragic car crash.
The wide receiver cooperated with the Dallas police during the ongoing investigation of the North Central Expressway car crash, which injured four people.
As TMZ Sports reported, Rice’s involvement in the incident was confirmed last Tuesday. However, his name came under suspicion after one of the vehicles involved in the crash was found to be registered or leased by Rice, last Saturday.
He confirmed that he owns a Lambo, leased from the company, The Classic Lifestyle in addition to the Corvette, which was also involved in the crash. As per the leasing agreement, Rice was the only person allowed to drive the car and at the time of crashing, he was in the Lambo but fled the scene immediately after the crash.
Classic Lifestyle’s attorney Kyle Coker shared with TMZ Sports that after the incident, Rice had sent him a text about his involvement in the crash and assuring him to pay for the damaged Lambo.
Fan reaction to Rashee Rice’s confirmed involvement in the car crash
It was found that both the cars involved in the wreck were under Rice’s name and they appeared to be racing on the Dallas expressway, which caused the huge accident. One of Rice’s friends was found to be driving the receiver’s Corvette. As expected, the NFL fans did not like such behavior from the Super Bowl champion.

Sharing a wide spectrum of reactions online, here’s what fans have to say:
Fans pointed out that even if he didn’t get arrested, the NFL isn’t going to leave this as disciplinary action against him is foreseen. And in that case, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will need to find another good receiver, especially since they are targeting a three-peat.
