How much do you spend when you think about going for a haircut at your local barbershop or salon? No matter how much that is, it pales in comparison to what the Los Angeles folks are charging. Lamar Jackson posted a screenshot of a message from one such barber, who calculated his total fees at around $1150.
The messages show how he charges by the hour and his base price. It read $350 as the initial fee, with $100 for travel time, which includes Taper fade, line-up, and beard. Moreover, it will take the barber around 2-3 hours to finish his work.
Jackson was shocked to see such an outrageous price for a haircut. The Baltimore Ravens quarterback expressed the same on his Twitter account, saying, “My Tape must gone last 365 days cause you must be out your rabbit (angry emoji) mind (laughing emoji).” The next time Jackson is in Los Angeles, he may want to meet this barber and give him a piece of his mind.
Lamar Jackson buys ice cream for the local children

Lamar Jackson recently signed a mouthwatering multimillion-dollar deal with the Ravens, which has made him the highest-paid quarterback in the NFL. However, the 26-year-old Florida native has his feet strongly on the ground. Jackson prefers to give something back to the community and be approachable to everyone. So it’s no surprise that he was seen distributing ice cream to neighborhood children.
The two times Pro Bowler was hosting his annual fun day in his hometown of Pompano Beach. There was a lot of queueing at the event as local children flocked to see their favorite player in the flesh. To show his appreciation, Jackson went to a nearby ice cream truck and bought every single one of the kids a scoop of ice cream.
Everything was recorded by some of the people present and uploaded to Twitter. Since then, it has gone viral, and fans are loving Lamar Jackson’s heartwarming gesture.
Fans were already aware of this softer side of Lamar Jackson, but this will increase their love for him. He will need all the support he can get come September when the NFL’s 2023 season finally begins. Last season ended tragically after he suffered a sprained PCL in Week 13 against the Denver Broncos. Jackson played 12 matches in 2022, winning eight of them. He had 2242 passing yards with 17 touchdowns and seven interceptions. The Baltimore Ravens will kick off their season against the Houston Texans on September 10.
