As the NFL offseason officially starts, the teams are aiming to restructure themselves. In a recent development, the Baltimore Ravens signed Nelson Agholor on a one-year contract extension. The player’s contract was on the verge of expiring when the Ravens gave the wide receiver an extension for another year.

Agholor has a vast history of playing in different teams in the NFL. He started his journey with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2015. Apart from the Eagles, the WR has played in teams like the Las Vegas Raiders, New England Patriots, and the Baltimore Ravens. In nine seasons of his professional career, the WR has registered 4,627 yards of receives with 35 touchdowns and 375 receptions. The WR, in the Ravens colors, caught 35 passes for 381 yards in the first season for him.

The Ravens gave a clear message with the signing of the wide receiver. The team wants to keep all three receivers who played with Lamar Jackson this season. Odell Beckham Jr. is the only player who has yet to sign an extension with the team.

Apart from the loss against the Kansas City Chiefs in the Conference game, the Baltimore Ravens had a great season. They were the best team in the AFC, earning the No.1 conference seed with 13 wins and just four losses. Lamar Jackson had another great season as he won another MVP. Even in the postseason, Jackson had a high-voltage performance against the Houston Texans. However, their journey came to an end in the Championship round.

Ravens fans disregarded the signing of Nelson Agholor

The Ravens fans seemed unhappy with the signing of the wide receiver, Nelson Agolor. The WR was not very effective last season and the other two wide receivers had more game time. Hence, the fans expected a trade of Agholor.

The Ravens’ management did not like to hear the fans about the signing. They might have made this decision by thinking about Lamar Jackson’s conditions. The quarterback might have given some conditions regarding the signing of the WR.

However, the fans did not show any interest in tolerating these things. They clearly showed their agony against the player on X. Check out some of the comments that they made.
