The former Baltimore Ravens linebacker Ray Lewis might’ve retired from the sport, but his competitiveness still hasn’t gone down a bit. During the 2024 Pro Bowl games, Lewis used an NSFW phrase to describe the referees’ actions.

On Sunday, star players from the NFC and AFC conferences went against each other in the 2024 Pro Bowl games in Orlando, Florida. In the annual entertaining event, Ray Lewis worked as the defensive coordinator for the AFC under head coach Peyton Manning. Lewis did not reduce his intensity just because he was coaching in the Pro Bowl.

In a short video that was trending on social media, Lewis could be heard chanting an NSFW press after referees called an illegal rush penalty against the AFC conference in the Pro Bowl.

ESPN was broadcasting the flag football game and had to mute Ray Lewis, who was mic’d up for the game. The network producers acted quickly and cut the audio for a few seconds to avoid damage. However, the brief video of Lewis expressing his frustrations went viral among NFL fans and accumulated more than 513k views within hours. Check out the footage attached below.

Many players might not take the Pro Bowl very seriously. But Lewis is not the one to take any game slightly, especially when there is hardware to win on the table.

Ray Lewis stormed the field to argue with the refs

The Pro Football Hall of Famer Ray Lewis was very active and very while working as the defensive coordinator for the AFC Conference during the 2024 Pro Bowl games. Before he used an NSFW phrase to describe the officials’ actions, he even stormed the field to argue with the refs.

During the second quarter of the flag football game, the refs called a penalty on the AFC, which led to Ray Lewis storming into the field to argue with the officials about it.

When Lewis entered the field and was arguing with the refs, the NFC quarterback Jalen Hurts decided to step in and had some fun with the former Ravens pass rusher. Hurts waved goodbye to Lewis, who was leaving the field in disbelief.

Nonetheless, the AFC won the flag football game, but Eli Manning‘s NFC ended up winning the 2024 Pro Bowl games with the final score of 64-59. So, for the second consecutive year, Eli’s NFC has defeated Peyton’s AFC in the Pro Bowl games.
