The Kansas City Chiefs had one of their sloppiest performances against the Las Vegas Raiders in the Patrick Mahomes era. The team lost by 20-14; however, the game will be remembered for the mistakes that the Chiefs committed on the gridiron. 

It was Patrick Mahomes who had the most mistakes committed on the turf. He had an interception and a touchdown for 235 yards. In addition, he also completed 27 of his 44 passes. The quarterback had another pick, which was overturned by the referees.

The referring decision created a lot of controversy later. The Kansas City Chiefs have been subjected to some controversial referring decisions this season. Against the Bills, their game-winning TD drive was canceled as Kadarius Toney, the WR, was subjected to an offside call.

Against the Raiders, nearly the same thing took place. The Chiefs could have turned things around, but the referees overturned the decision. 

It was a decision that triggered controversies among the fans. The fans raised their fingers at the referees and said that they had deceived Patrick Mahomes once again. 

Apart from that one decision, the Chiefs had no excuse for the loss they had suffered on the gridiron. The defense played well; however, that was not enough to seal the victory for the Chiefs. 

Twitter did not take the referring angle with a very open mind

The overturned pick was subjected to a discussion on Twitter where the fans argued whether it was a perfect call. But Mahomes did not get the full support of the fans, as they also emphasized a lot of other things.

Probably, the fans did not forget that Mahomes failed to perform as per his standards. He was sacked four times and had fumbles. In addition, he was intercepted once. His consecutive giveaways resulted in consecutive touchdowns for the Las Vegas Raiders. In short, it was Mahomes who brought the Raiders back to the game.
