Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs’ absence from the team’s first mandatory minicamp practice was a source of concern for many Bills fans. It was reported that Diggs might have an internal fight with quarterback Josh Allen.

However, Josh Allen has come out in front of the media to clarify that there’s an internal issue within the team regarding Stefon Diggs, who is dating Tae Heckard. He said that it is something that they are working on solving as soon as possible.

Allen said, “Stef, he’s my guy. Excuse my … I f—ing love him. He’s a brother of mine. This does not work, what we’re doing here, without him. We wish he was in here today and was out there on the field with us and that’s not the case, but I’ve got his back no matter what. And again, I’ve got no doubt that we will figure out what’s going on. I frigging love him. I can’t stress that enough.”

NFL analyst and pundit Rich Eisen recently spoke on the Stefon Diggs matter. He certainly was not pleased with the way the Buffalo Bills handled the situation. Moreover, he is stunned by the fact that the Bills did not resolve this until June.

Rich Eisen pointed out that it definitely cannot be a matter of money, as Stefon Diggs has recently signed a big money contract with the Bulls. Hence, it is possible that it is revolving around some unresolved matter that has continued since the end of last season.

“How did this not get put to bed? Between Super Bowl and June mandatory mini camp. How did this go unresolved. I mean I understand that they might not be in the same social circles or see the same people. But this is what Robert Griffin III said that it was on Josh Allen, the team’s quarterback to be a leader and say I’ll deal with it,” Eisen said.

Rich Eisen even added that in case the Buffalo Bills do go on to win the Super Bowl this season, this entire controversy will be available to national television for everyone to watch.
