The New York Giants suffered a major setback against the Seattle Seahawks as they lost by a mammoth margin of 24-3. They suffered again from their offensive inabilities as their quarterback Daniel Jones hardly had an impact on the game. He was sacked ten times by the defense of the Seahawks. More trouble is also brewing for the team as the QB is reportedly not having a good relationship with the head coach. HC Brian Dabbol was spotted angry after seeing the player making mistakes at crucial points of the game.
Analyst Richard Sherman opened himself up regarding the situation of the team. He said that Dabbol is finding himself stuck in a loophole where he has to keep Jones in the squad. The team made a contract worth $160 million with the QB. Hence he can not make a major decision. “Should the Giants play Daniel Jones? No, they should not. It is a cautionary tale. Do not play the guy because he is a guy. He had an average season, maybe you are trying to find a way to franchise him,” he said on Undisputed. He further added, “This is why Brian Dabbol looks so frustrated because he has realized he is stuck with Daniel Jones. I am drawing up great players, I am drawing up players wide but he can not get the ball to up. My goodness, I will pull my hair up but he is already bowled.”
Well, Dabbol has every right to be frustrated, as the $160 million quarterback failed to have an impact. During the final minutes of the third quarter, the Giants were trailing by 11 points and were facing a crucial 2nd and goal from the 5-yard line while Jones received a snap he tried to pass it to the wide receiver (WR) but he was intercepted. The failure of the move made the HC angry.

Daniel Jones’ performance in the league
Daniel Jones has been poor so far in the league. In the season opener, he failed to earn a point for his team. The Giants had a shambolic loss and the player did not have any improvement in his performance. In four matches, the player has been intercepted quite a number of times.

Jones went without a touchdown in three of the four matches. He registered two touchdowns and in contrast, had six interceptions. He covered 765 yards with a passing completion rate of 68.7%. It is to be seen whether he will improve his performance in the coming time.
The New York Giants take on the Miami Dolphins next on the 8th of October. The game is set to take place at the Hard Rock Stadium.
