Tampa Bay Buccaneers might have the rub of the green next season, and might have couped their second veteran signing of the season. Former Bucs tight end Rob Gronkowski signalled his intention to return to the biggest stage.
The 32-year old has been a free agent after he decided to leave the Bucs last season citing reasons that he wanted to retire and call it a day for the second time in his esteemed career. However, now it seems that he can take the pitch and it will only be for his former side.
Rob Gronkowski has hinted towards a return to the Buccaneers next season
Rob Gronkowski is also a close ally of Tom Brady and the change in mindset can also be due to the fact that the quarterback made a return to the NFL after announcing his retirement from the sport in February.
“It’s just the Bucs,” Gronkowski said in interview with TMZ Sports. “Love that organization, man. Love the guys there. It’s family over there.”
Roh Gronkowski said that he has a special place in his heart for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and will only return to play for them. He also mentioned that the franchise has become a family of sorts for him after he only played the last season for them.
