History continues to repeat itself. The Dallas Cowboys have failed to progress in the playoffs after their humiliating loss to the Green Bay Packers. Tonight’s game should be dubbed as the ‘Disaster in Dallas’ as the home team was embarrassed by a team that was considered lucky to be in the playoffs.
After the 48-32 loss of the Cowboys, fans of the home team though disappointed were in agreement of one thing, Mike McCarthy has got to go. Along with fans, Robert Griffin III, former NFL QB and analyst on ESPN was in agreement with this as well and shared his two cents on whom America’s team ought to hire as its next head coach.
According to Robert Griffin III, the Dallas Cowboys should move on from Mike McCarthy and hire Deion Sanders instead. Yes, you read that right. The analyst justified his take on X by stating,
I know who you need, you need Coach Prime....he knows how to win in Dallas, he knows what it takes to have a championship mindset, he knows how to hold his guys accountable, and he is a culture changer.
RGIII further stated Deion Sanders‘ achievements with Jackson State and now Colorado. He pointed out that Prime was able to turn these programs around and make an immediate impact because he rebuilt the entire culture in the locker room and changed the mindset of players. That is what the Cowboys need.

Fans on social media were flabbergasted with Robert Griffin III’s take on Deion Sanders becoming the next HC of the Cowboys
Griffin III further stated,
It is not just that, Coach Prime is also going to bring you your quarterback of the future, that's right, Shedeur Sanders...If the Cowboys have an opportunity to draft that young man, they certainly are.
He went from vouching for Prime to coach in the NFL to replacing Dak Prescott with Shedeur Sanders.
RGIII wants Shedeur Sanders on the team because he knows that would increase the odds of Deion Sanders accepting the role of HC. He further stated that Dak Prescott has the potential to win the Cowboys a Super Bowl but knowing Jerry Jones and how he loves money and the attention he gets from owning America’s team, hiring Deion Sanders should be an easy decision because no other coach will make him more money and attract the attention of media than him.
Fans online mocked RGIII for this take. Take a look at some of the reactions:

Coach prime went 1-8 vs the Pac12. You sure he can handle the NFL?

What’s going to happen first, RGIII giving a good take or the Dallas Cowboys making it to the Super Bowl?
Are you pulling an Acho and simply trying to engagement farm?

Cause that seems like what you’re doing instead of offering a legit thought on this.
This can’t be what you really think. Were you suggesting him for Bama or Washington?
Are you real?

That’s never going to happen, the last good coach to coach in Dallas was Johnson. You think Jerry is going to let Deion out shine him in the press ? he fired Jimmy for way less…

Please tell me he’s trolling

This was clearly a bad take, there is no doubt that Deion Sanders brings a positive culture and mindset with him but that does not necessarily translate to on-field success. Take the Colorado Buffaloes for instance, they went 4-8 against better collegiate teams, and while their record was better than last season, ultimately, they ended up at the bottom of the Pac-12 Conference. Coaching in the NFL is an entirely different challenge. While this sounds good on paper, in practicality, it could end up backfiring.
