Ron Rivera‘s journey can end after the game against the Dallas Cowboys. The team has struggled throughout the season and they will face the Cowboys with a 4-12 record. There are speculations that the team can complete the golden handshake with the HC after the game.

Earlier it was thought that the owner Josh Harris would be saying goodbye to the HC ahead of the game. But that has not happened. Harris never spoke anything in public regarding the possible termination of the head coach. Rivera, who is in his fourth season, has also dodged the question of him getting terminated. A few days back, he was asked about his possible termination and he quickly escaped that.

Rivera said addressing the reporters:

Well, I’d like to think we’re in a better place. That’s probably a fairer way to say it. I most certainly do appreciate my time here, and we’ll see what happens. And again, we’ll focus in on what’s coming first on Sunday, and that’s getting ready for Dallas.

In his four seasons, Rivera registered only 26 wins against 39 losses. A record that he will probably want to forget. Though, he did not have a bad start as a head coach as he took the team to the playoffs in 2020 in his first season. However, the head coach has failed to garner a single win in the playoffs since 2015.

The NFL has witnessed multiple coaching changes this season. The Chargers and the Rams are examples of it. If Rivera finally gets sacked then it is to be seen what the team follows next.

An easy win for the Cowboys is predicted against Ron Rivera’s Commanders

The Dallas Cowboys will play their final game of the season on Sunday Night. They have already clinched the playoff spot. However, this game can ensure the Divisional Championship. Both the Cowboys and the Eagles are in the same boat with 11 wins and five losses.

The Cowboys would like to win the game to improve their on-road record. Despite a brilliant record on home soil, the Cowboys have suffered on away turf. They share a 3-5 record. The Commanders are weak and come nowhere close to the Cowboys’ strength. Hence, the ‘America’s Team’ would love to start their winning zone from the soil of the Commanders.

Given the strength and expertise, the Commanders seem to be an easy challenge.
