The star quarterback of the Denver Broncos, Russel Willson, opened up about his way of dealing with the pressure that a quarterback like him has to go through. Attending a press conference, the 34-year-old QB said that he does not feel staggered by pressure. Instead, if he senses something he deals with it.

Do I feel the pressure? No. I don’t run from it. I look forward to it. I run to it if anything,” Wilson told reporters in a press conference on Wednesday,” he said while answering media inquiries.

“We as a team, we’re all in this together. We’re all searching for one thing and that’s to get better every day. I’m not looking too far ahead. All the guys are trying to learn as much as we can from today’s practice and use that experience,” he further added.

This is going to be Willson’s second season at Denver, and he must be feeling the determination to silence his critiques with his intense level of performance. In 2021, the star QB left the Seattle Seahawks to join the Broncos. Fans and analysts had high hopes for him. However, the reality turned different as the QB failed to create an impact by his performance.

The Broncos also finished the season with major disappointment. The 2022 season was one of the worst seasons for them. They finished it with a record of 5-12 (almost matching their worst 4-12 record in the 2010 season). Hence, this season, they will try to turn the tables desperately. To do that, Sean Payton, the new head coach, has to rely on Wilson’s masterclass.

After a disastrous season in 2022, the Denver Broncos fired their head coach Nathaniel Hackett, and brought in former New Orleans’ Super Bowl-winning brain Sean Payton. This season, the team is expecting to return to their winning streak with the help of the tactical brilliance of Payton. The team is also trying to trade running back Jonathan Taylor from the Indianapolis Colts to strengthen the squad.

The rebuilding process has attracted a lot of positive feedback from the analysts. Recently, Greg Jennings, a famous analyst said that the Broncos could beat the Kansas City Chiefs this season. They can improve a lot through pre-season games.

“It is happening Nick, it’s gonna happen this year. The Broncos will end up beating the Chiefs in one of these games or even in both games,” he spotted saying from the sets of the famous talk show, ‘First Things First.’
