Russell Wilson is not the only person who has unfinished business to take care of this year. His wife, the talented and acclaimed singer, and entertainer Ciara Wilson is working on a movie that she has produced via Why Not Productions, the media house owned by the star-studded couple.
The name of the documentary produced by Ciara Wilson is Unfinished Business, it gives fans and viewers an in-depth look into the history of the WNBA since its inception and all the way up to the 2021 season. The documentary takes a look into New York Liberty’s 2021 season and analyzes the 25-year-old history of the WNBA.
The Liberty had one of the most interesting seasons in 2021 in the WNBA. While the team ended the season with 12 wins and 20 losses and finished 3rd in the Eastern Conference, fans were hyped for the team as the previous year, the team had ranked at the bottom of the standings with just 2 wins and 20 losses. 2021 marked the debut year for rookie Sabrina Ionescu who had a significant fan following around her since her college days at the University of Oregon.
Ciara Wilson is the Executive Producer of the Unfinished Business documentary
The singer took to Twitter to promote her upcoming movie. The documentary appears to be a promising one as it has already received a recommendation at the 2022 Tribeca Film Festival. Throughout the doc, fans get to hear the experiences of the WNBA stars such as Betnijah Laney and Sabrina Ionescu. The players changed the New York Liberty franchise when they got there and bought much-needed energy and change into the locker room.
The documentary features the owner of the New York Liberty, Clara Wu Tsai, who is the wife of the Brooklyn Nets owner Joe Tsai. The Why Not You production house is one of many business enterprises owned and managed by Russell Wilson and Ciara. In addition to this, they hold executive positions on The House of LR&C, a premier fashion lineup along with R&C, a fragrance lineup.
The Wilsons are co-owners of the Seattle Sounders as well. This year will be a pivotal one for the Denver Broncos quarterback as he has a lot to do on the field in order to redeem his image as a reliable and seasoned veteran in the league. He does have unfinished business as an athlete in the NFL.
