Russell Wilson’s wife Ciara shares a stack of Lakers legend Kobe Bryant’s ‘fire’ jerseys ahead of the NBA playoffs

The much-anticipated NBA playoffs are set to begin on the weekend. The playoffs basketball buzz has gotten ahold of a lot of people including Ciara Wilson, the wife of Denver Broncos QB Russell Wilson.
The American singer-songwriter Ciara Wilson recently shared a bunch of jerseys of the Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant on her social media just days ahead of the NBA playoffs. She posted the picture on her story with the caption “Had to order for the fam” and a lot of fire emojis. She also tagged Vanessa Bryant, the wife of the late Lakers icon.
After missing the playoffs last season, LeBron James and the LA Lakers have qualified for the playoffs this season and will be facing the Ja Morant-led Memphis Grizzlies in the first round on the weekend. As the Lakers embark on another playoff campaign, the Grammy award winner Ciara channels her inner Kobe Bryant and showed some love to the 5-time NBA Champion.
Kobe Bryant is a legend in the NBA. He excelled at the sport for 20 years with the Lakers and won 5 championships. He retired in 2016 at the age of 37. The Lakers icon died in a helicopter crash that killed 8 people including Kobe and his daughter Gianna Bryant in January 2020.
Ciara says Russell Wilson helped her accept herself
Ciara and the Broncos QB Russell Wilson are one of the most popular couples in the NFL world. The couple got married in July 2016 in a castle in England and has been supportive of each other for a long time.
During a recent interview with Yahoo Life, the singer Ciara shared how her husband Russell Wilson helped her accept herself despite her past struggles. “I give myself grace, and my honey, Russ, he loves my curves. So he celebrates that, which I love. So I don’t stress as much now, I think as I would have when I was younger,” she said.
“When we’re working out, we’re really encouraging each other, really celebrating each other, which I really love. I think he’s the best at what he does and to see like his level of commitment and dedication to what he does, I get so inspired. I do feel like a better woman because of him,” shared Ciara.
Nevertheless, Russell Wilson has always been a big supporter of his wife Ciara. Even recently, when she received backlash for her fishnet dress at the Vanity Fair Oscars party, Russell stood behind her and supported her as he always does.
