Brock Purdy has just been given an opportunity that can probably make or break his NFL career. The rookie is given the reins to the 49ers offense as both Jimmy Garoppolo and Trey Lance are out injured.
Jimmy G recently picked up a broken foot injury in the game against the Dolphins that put him out for the whole season. Purdy, the third-choice QB, will now have to step up and steer the 49ers to the tough playoffs this season.
Purdy was exceptional when he first took the charge as the 49ers’ QB against the Dolphins by throwing for 210 yards, two touchdowns, and one interception.
The 49ers rookie was drafted this year with the last pick and was termed as Mr. irrelevant. Now Mr. irrelevant is the most important piece of the puzzle in the 49ers’ offense.
Former NFL player Ryan Clark was discussing the same situation on the show ‘Get Up’ on ESPN and stated something absurd yet glaring. Clark believes that if Purdy manages to win the Super Bowl with the 49ers, then this can surely triumph over the GOAT Tom Brady‘s first Super Bowl win with the Patriots.
Tom Brady had a legendary run that led to his first Super Bowl win and now his legacy is in danger, according to Ryan Clark. Purdy winning the Super Bowl can go down as the most unusual Super Bowl-winning story of all time.

What are the chances of Brock Purdy winning the Super Bowl and ultimately challenging Tom Brady’s legacy?

Brock Purdy has a massive chance to prove his worth and prove all the naysayers wrong. The rookie QB has all the weapons in his offense with players like Christian McCaffrey, Brandon Aiyuk, and WR Deebo Samuel.
The 49ers also have a good chance of making the Super Bowl as they currently lead their division with an 8-4 record and are looking like prime contenders for the NFC title.
However, that will only be possible if Purdy performs brilliantly. There’s also the added aspect of pressure and stress, as the young QB will be going through games where even a single mistake will be met with heavy repercussions.
Brock Purdy winning the Super Bowl with the 49ers will surely be legendary and something out of the ordinary. Though it will never beat Tom Brady’s legacy only because the Bucs QB is the indisputable GOAT for what he has done for the game and there will be no one like him.
