Ryan Clark demands Justin Fields’ trade from the Falcons claiming he could make the Atlanta offense look ‘one thousand times better’ with Bijan Robinson

Justin Fields has become a cause of concern for the Chicago Bears. He had one of the finest rushing performances last season, which helped him to improve his market value. The player got a good contract and stepped into the NFL 2023-24 season to prove his competency. However, he struggled as a passer and his struggles made the life of the Bears difficult. They have had a 0-4 start to their campaign as they lost all four games. It is probably the worst start among the teams in the NFL.
In this scenario, analysts are advocating a possible trade that will benefit both ends. Fields is not good at the Bears (though he performed well in the game against the Denver Broncos, that was not enough to grab a victory) and the Bears are also failing to utilize him. In this case, a trade will likely benefit both ends in meeting their needs. Fields can adapt to a different team with a different playing style. On the other hand, the Bears can also get someone who will have a smooth passing play that will help the other Bears’ players.
Speaking on these issues, Ryan Clark opened up and said that Fields should be traded to the Atlanta Falcons where he would change the offense completely. When his fellow panelist said that Fields would make the Falcons’ attack 1000 times better he agreed and said, “I don’t want to fall on Desmond Ridder who is trying to find his footing as a starting quarterback in the league. But he is not the guy. When you look at Drake London’s frustration by being pushed out at the endzone, you can see he wants to run. Desmond Ridder can’t figure the way to get into.”
Adding more to the discussion, the analyst said, “Yes they drafted Bijan Robinson number eight or number seven this year. Before they drafted Kyle Pitts and Drake London. These guys are supposed to be stars. These guys are supposed to catch 50-50 balls.”
Justin Fields’ performance this season
Fields was not up to the mark regarding his performance with the Bears. Apart from the game against the Broncos, he failed to create momentum for the Bears. Against the Broncos, he had a decent game.
The QB covered 335 yards and threw four touchdowns with an 80% CMP rate. However, that was not enough to seal the victory.
Overall the player covered 861 yards of passing with seven touchdowns and five interceptions. His overall passing completion rate is 64.2%. It is to be seen whether he gets traded.
