Recently, a police report has surfaced on the internet claiming that the former NBA player Dwight Howard is facing s***al assault and battery filed by Stephen Harper, in Georgia. Harper has also accused the former NBA star of false imprisonment and intentional infliction of emotional distress.
However, Howard had denied all the accusations against him, saying the encounter with Harper at his house in the Atlanta suburbs was consensual, and requested the court to dismiss the case through his attorney.
In spite of the allegations, Howard’s former partner Royce Reed also came forward, calling him an “evil” person as he called a 12-year-old boy ‘gay’ for not being interested in watching explicit material on the internet. The former Orlando Magic cheerleader, Reed shares a 15-year-old son, named Braylon with Howard.
Not many have come forward in support of the victim in this situation, except the former NFL safety and Super Bowl XLIII champion Ryan Clark, who has taken the bold step of supporting Harper who is seeking justice.
Ryan shared a clip from The Pivot, where he is seen talking about the allegations. He said:
I know you say the legal part doesn't matter, but I actually believe it does. It's also..if it was a woman, who felt she was drunk in that manner or felt that she was assaulted in a way that..it had to be accusations made and investigations done. You, I, and all of us, if we found out she was wrong..we would support that.
Former NFL safety argued that people are taking this differently because it’s a man saying he has been s*xually assaulted. He supported Harper for “seeking to find a way to behold the justice to be served.”
He added further:
And I think that's what makes it sort of a twisted or difficult situation for us to get into because like..we say ourselves, 'How does a man be assaulted in this way?'

How did Stephen Harper describe his encounter with Dwight Howard?
According to Harper’s lawsuit, he met with the NBA player on Instagram where they exchanged explicit texts. After many such conversations, they finally met at Howard’s house on July 19, 2021. After many such conversations, they finally met at Howard’s house on July 19, 2021.
On his way to Howard’s house, the NBA player texted him to ask if another person could join their plan of a s***al encounter. But as Harper wasn’t interested, he denied it.
However, when he reached, he found another man dressed as a woman with the name of “Kitty” also present at Howard’s house. Harper alleged that he resisted the two men, but both Howard and the man kept forcing themselves on him. They then trapped him in Howard’s bedroom and made him believe that if he tried to escape or resist the s***ual advances, they would beat him a lot.
