This Christmas is going to be filled with thrill and excitement. Among the three crucial matches scheduled for the day, one is the New York Giants against the Philadelphia Eagles. Despite a 5-9 standing, the Giants are hopeful for the Sunday Night Football game.
With a recent 24-6 loss against the New Orleans Saints, the Giants are playing at the very edge at this point of the season. They have lost all four games versus the Eagles. On top of that, New York has a pitiful record of losing 10 consecutive road games to the Eagles. The last time they logged a win in Philadelphia was in 2013.

Philadelphia on the other hand, won 16 out of their last 19 games with an NFC East rival. Their last season’s three losses, eventually led the Giants eliminated the playoffs. But this season, it seems the Giants’ players are fed up with listening to last year’s losses, ahead of the crucial match on Sunday.
While talking to the Associated Press, running back Saquon Barkley said:
I don't think that sits well in anybody's stomach. I don't think that sits well if you've been here for a long time, especially the guys that have been here the longest, (Sterling) Shep(ard), myself. We hate saying that we hate answering the questions, 'How would it feel to win in Philly?' or to not beat Philly. We're sick and tired of it.Saquon Barkley to AP
The Giants’ three-game winning streak recently broke off when they lost the game against the Saints, meanwhile, the Eagles have been on a three-game losing streak.
Saquon Barkley anticipates the match against the Eagles to be tough
To score a victory in a road game, the Giants need to work on being more dynamic. Last week in the game against the Saints, Barkley logged only 14 yards on nine carries. Analyzing his last three regular-season games against the Eagles, running back Barkley has logged 40 or fewer rushing yards in each game.
Considering their opponents’ performances in the last few weeks, Barkley believes Philly’s past performances wouldn’t have a bearing on Monday’s game. He believes they are a great team, and regardless of the outcome of the game, no one can deny that.

He also admitted that it’s going to be a tough game against them, and for the Giants to win the game, they need to play their ultimate best.
