Jets star Sauce Gardner receives custom Jessica Alba cleats post infamous meet with the ‘Honey’ star at Knicks Game

Ever since the veteran quarterback Aaron Rodgers joined the New York Jets, the franchise is getting a lot of attention from the media. That’s one of the benefits of having a star QB leading the team. Recently, the Jets CB Sauce Gardner found out what’s it like to hang out with the famed quarterback as he got to meet the A-list actress Jessica Alba during an NBA playoff game.
Earlier this month, the Jets star cornerback Sauce Gardner attended the New York Knicks playoff game with his new teammate Aaron Rodgers and they were seated right next to the ‘Fantastic Four’ actress Jessica Alba. Funnily, the 22-year-old defensive back didn’t know who Alba was, which led to Rodgers mocking him for the rest of the night.
Nonetheless, both Jets players ended up meeting Alba and her friend for a quick chat during the game. A couple of days later, the 42-year-old actress took to social media to compliment Sauce Gardner’s smooth game on her friend during their chat. This little crossover was loved by the fans and Gardner was hailed on social media for impressing Jessica Alba with his game.
And now, a few weeks after their initial meet, the 2022 Defensive Rookie of the Year Gardner has received custom Jessica Alba cleats, courtesy of the artist Mike Jordan.
Jets CB Sauce Gardner receives Jessica Alba custom cleats
It seems like the fans are still not over Sauce Gardner’s little meet with the Hollywood actress Jessica Alba earlier this month. The shoe artist Mike Jordan designed custom Alba cleats as a gift to the Jets’ All-Pro cornerback.
“My guy @saucegardner didn’t ask for these but it had to be done here’s to new friendships! #jessicealba #storm #honey #nyjets,” shoe artist Mike Jordan shared on Instagram.
“I wanted to do something fun,” Jordan told TMZ about why he made those shoes. “I hope Jessica likes them, too.” Jordan painted the Nike cleats with a picture of Alba from the movie Honey on one shoe and a picture of the actress from the movie Fantastic Four on another cleat.
Jordan dropped the shoes off at the Jets facility for Sauce Gardner to pick them up. Well, Gardner is reaping the benefits of the hard work he put in to recruit the 10-time Pro Bowl QB to New York in the 2023 off-season.
With Aaron Rodgers under the center, the New York-based football team believes they can win the Super Bowl in the near future. Rodgers has already begun training with his new teammates in the Big Apple as he hopes to lead the Jets to their first playoff appearance since 2010.
