Things are getting ugly between the former Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman Jr. and the New York Jets players. Recently, some Jets players accused Hardman Jr. of leaking their game plans to the opponents out of spite. And now, the Jets cornerback Sauce Gardner has a savage 1-word reaction to the whole fiasco.
After the accusations went viral, Sauce Gardner shared an old tweet from Mecole Hardman Jr. where the former Chiefs wide receiver joked about snitching. Hardman wrote (in a now deleted Tweet) that he would not hesitate to snitch on anybody.

Gardner’s savage tweet came just hours after the Jets cornerback seemingly accused Hardman of leaking the Jets’ game plan when the wide receiver was part of the New York-based football team. Gardner implied that someone from the Jets camp leaked the game plan to the Philadelphia Eagles ahead of their matchup in the 2023 regular season.
Hardman was part of the Jets camp at the time and was soon released by them after the Jets lost to the Eagles. Later, the talented wide receiver was signed by the Chiefs, who ended up winning the Super Bowl. Hardman had a big role in the Chiefs winning the title as he caught the walk-off touchdown pass in the championship game.
Sauce Gardner was not the only Jets player to take a dig at Mecole Hardman Jr.
Recently, the former Chiefs wide receiver Mecole Hardman lashed out at the Jets organization during his appearance on The Pivot podcast. Later, he was bashed on social media by the Jets’ punter Thomas Morstead.
Be careful getting information from disgruntled former employees. Getting beat out by a rookie free agent [Xavier Gipson] after being guaranteed millions of dollars is tough to deal with. Entitlement is a killer of opportunity. You have to earn it every year.Thomas Morstead wrote on X
Later, Sauce Gardner also implied Hardman was involved in a foul play in a now-deleted tweet. Hardman hasn’t addressed the accusations yet. He was recently released by the Chiefs as a cap space-saving move. He will now test his market in free agency.
