Sean McVay led the Los Angeles Rams to a Super Bowl victory a couple of seasons ago. Now, another surprise awaits him, as his wife, Veronika Khomyn, just announced her pregnancy on Instagram.

The 37-year-old Rams HC is expecting his first child, and it is a boy. Khomyn also announced the news on the occasion of Father’s Day, and it was heartwarming for everyone involved.

McVay and Khomyn got married to each other in 2022, and since then they have been inseparable. Both of them can be seen on each other’s social media accounts quite regularly.

However, it was the former Ukrainian model who broke the news on her Instagram. The Instagram post had five pictures attached to it, and with them was a heartfelt caption.

“Guess who’s becoming a dad this football season!” Veronika Khomyn wrote. “Baby boy McVay is coming this fall and we’re so excited to meet him and love on him. I can’t believe he’s been growing in my belly for five months already.”

The Rams HC and Veronika met in Washington when McVay was still working for the Washington Commanders while the former model was studying at George Mason University. Sean McVay has been with the Rams for eight NFL seasons now. During that time, he has helped the team to a Super Bowl title and an NFC title.

Sean McVay is part of a team in transition

The LA Rams have faltered massively since winning the Super Bowl a couple of seasons ago. The team has also changed a lot, with many prominent players either getting old or having moved on. Sean McVay has a huge responsibility on his hands to turn the tide.

The Rams had a disastrous year last season and failed to make the playoffs. Many expect that this year will be the same story, as the Los Angeles-based team is currently in transition. 

Many believe that Sean McVay should switch from his ‘win now’ mode to creating a better team that can challenge for several years consecutively. The Cincinnati Bengals and the Kansas City Chiefs have managed to do that, and they are currently dominating the league.

With the preseason kicking off anytime soon, the Rams HC will have to prepare his team for the challenges of next season and make the Rams what they were a couple of seasons ago.
