the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office announced recently that seven Spartan players are being charged with cases varying from assault to battery.

Itayvion Brown, Angelo Grose, Justin White, Brandon Wright, and Zion Young were charged with aggravated assault as there’s a video of the Spartans surrounding the Wolverines DB Ja’Den McBurrows while kicking him on the ground.

These charges were filed after the University of Michigan did a thorough investigation into the incident and came up with a decision. However, the Spartans took the decision imminently as they suspended Crump, Grose, Brown, and Young, and, once more video evidence was revealed, Windmon, Wright, White, and Malcolm Jones also were suspended.

“At the University of Michigan we appreciate the thoughtful, deliberate approach from the Washtenaw County Prosecutor’s Office to this unfortunate incident,” Michigan president Santa J. Ono said in a statement. “We also want to express our concern for all the players involved, especially those who were injured. The University of Michigan will continue to cooperate fully with any additional reviews of this matter.”

Michigan State students were involved in a vicious melee that got the attention of the whole country. This resulted in massive actions being taken by them as they increased their security in and around the tunnel.

Teresa K. Woodruff, Michigan State’s interim president recently stated that she is willing to cooperate with everyone regarding this incident and she doesn’t promote these activities on college grounds.

“While we do not condone the actions taken by some football players on Oct. 29, we will support our student-athletes through this process,” she said. “MSU believes strongly in restorative justice practices and the education around harmful actions.”

The Spartans have adopted a new tunnel rule which was quite visible in the Nebraska game. Their new security makes sure that not a single Wolverine will enter the stadium until all the Nebraska players had left it.

The security measures will work to an extent, the primary concern should be teaching values like sportsmanship as there is increasingly more number of cases of college football violence.
