Aaron Rodgers and Hollywood actress Shailene Woodley were on the cusp of marrying each other as the couple has previously been engaged. However, not all engagements end in marriage, as the star couple had to call it quits after years of dating.
The Packers QB and Woodley tried to keep their relationship under wraps. However, it became public when they announced their engagement and nothing was the same after that.
The couple had ended their engagement after just a year of announcing it. It was a brutal affair for both Rodgers and Woodley. Both of them tried different ways to cope with the breakup. The Hollywood actress recently confirmed that it was the darkest, hardest period of her life.
“It was hard to film because I was going through the darkest, hardest time in my life; it was winter in New York, and my personal life was s—-, so it felt like a big pain bubble for eight months,” Shailene Woodley stated. “I was so grateful that at least I could go to work and cry and process my emotions through my character.”
The actress also confessed that her new movie ‘three women’ helped her a lot while coping with her breakup, as she was able to use the art of acting to express freely what she wanted to after going through a tragic period in her life.

Aaron Rodgers was engaged to Shailene Woodley for a year and has often spoken greatly about her ex-fiancee. They were a star couple and all eyes were on them during their relationship.
The Hollywood actress was dating an NFL star. This made them the talk of the town and every little detail about them was analyzed with great focus. Woodley shared that being in the media’s eyes all the time made the relationship more scrutinous and violative.
“It honestly never really hit me that millions of people around the world were actually watching these things and paid attention to them. Then, I dated somebody in America who was very, very famous,” Woodley stated to Benjamin VanHoose of the PEOPLE. “It was the first time that I’d had a quote-unquote ‘famous’ relationship, and I watched scrutiny, opinions, the desire for people to know my life and his life and our life — it just felt violating in a way that, before, it was fun.”
While Woodley is recently single and focusing on her professional life, Rodgers was recently spotted sitting court-side with the Milwaukee Bucks owner’s daughter Mallory Edens.
