Former NFL player and present-day analyst Shannon Sharpe said he made more money from the viral video of him interviewing Katt Williams than in any year from his playing days in the league. However, the former tight end did not reveal the amount. It is estimated that the former TE had earned anywhere between $3-$6 million. It’s almost three times more than what he used to earn in a year during his days in the league.

In his interview with Chad Ochocinco, Sharpe didn’t reveal the exact earnings but abruptly said he made 3 times whatever everyone is assuming.

The Broncos legend made $22.3 million in career earnings during 15 seasons in the NFL. Sharpe made $2.25 million with the Broncos in 1999 which is also the season he made the most money. So it is believed that the Katt Williams interview alone garnered him over $2.25 million.

Comedian Katt Williams’ interview gained traction on the internet after he appeared on Club Shay Shay. In conversation with Shannon Sharpe, the comedian had many shocking revelation. He also said that he could run a sub-4.5-40-yard dash in shorts. Sharpe had a dispute over the claim that he made. However, a video went viral that clearly depicted that he holds some speed.

Nevertheless, the interview boosted the financial condition of the former TE. The podcast currently has over 60 million views on YouTube and is the best-performing episode on Club Shay Shay.

Due to the financial gain, Shannon Sharpe was so happy that he made a parody of the song ‘My Body is A Wonderland. Altering the lyrics, the former undisputed co-host claimed that his pockets have become a wonderland after the interview. He flexed his new watch and tried to hint at the money he made through one interview. 

My pockets is a wonderland. A lot of times, that’s what they call it. Because he wore it and it caught fire because they saw him have it on. So they dubbed it ‘The John Mayer.
