“They’re still inconsistent,” Shannon Sharpe is far from IMPRESSED by the Cowboys’ Thanksgiving game victory over the Giants

Shannon Sharpe is an NFL analyst known for his candid statements and brutal criticisms. And his this side was on full display again as the former NFL athlete recently hit back at the Cowboys for their inconsistent performances this season.

Although the Cowboys managed a win against the Giants, it didn’t impress Shannon Sharpe as they were inconsistent throughout the game and were lucky to get a win.

The Cowboys were facing a team that has several injury issues and weren’t able to get momentum throughout the game. Cowboys QB Dak Prescott threw 2 interceptions in the game, which would have seriously caused them trouble if it was a playoff game.

“Giants had no business being in this ball game. Dallas committed 13 penalties, Dak had two INTs. You do that in a playoff game, you’re going home.” Shannon Sharpe stated on the Undisputed.

According to the Undisputed Host, the Giants were playing backups of backups in their defense and should have dominated the game as the Cowboys committed 13 penalties throughout the game.

The Cowboys and the Giants had the same 7-3 record when they went into the game, fighting for the second spot in their division. However, the Cowboys were victorious and will now look to challenge the in-form Eagles for the divisional title.

Though Shannon Sharpe was not impressed by the game, it still became the most-watched regular season game in the history of the NFL.

Around 42 million people tuned in to watch the game on Fox Sports as everyone came together to enjoy family time this Thanksgiving. The previous record was held by the Giants-49ers game that took place way back in 1990 as 41.6 million viewers tuned in for that game.

Fox Sports announced the news on their Twitter and made us all believe that the Cowboys are indeed the most followed football team in America.

The Cowboys are speculated to challenge for the Super Bowl this year as they are probably signing the talented free agent WR Odell Beckham Jr. to bolster their offense and make them Super Bowl-worthy.

They currently have the best defense in the league, as Micah Parsons is in great form. Though they still trail in the division to the Eagles and will have to win the most games out of their remaining fixtures.
