The saying “Talent recognizes Talent” holds true, and Shannon Sharpe, an experienced analyst, and former player, is convinced that Miami Dolphins’ wide receiver Tyreek Hill is the NFL’s most outstanding non-quarterback player. During a recent episode of First Take, Sharpe openly praised Hill, even suggesting he’s a strong contender for the Most Valuable Player (MVP) award.
Shannon Sharpe explained on ESPN’s ‘First Take’ and said that Hill has revolutionized the way the Miami Dolphins operate. “He’s one of the rare players in NFL history who can turn a 5-yard play into an 80-yard spectacle. Whenever he gets the ball, he genuinely threatens to score a touchdown,” Sharpe said.
Sharpe praised him as the NFL’s most feared player, citing his speed and game-changing abilities. “He is the most dangerous man, regardless of position,” Sharpe continued. “That man — No. 10, 5-foot-8, 195 pounds — strikes more fear in the heart of opposing coaches than any current player because of that speed and his ability to break the game open at any moment,” he further noted.
It’s no surprise to NFL fans, as Tyreek Hill has dominated this season. He’s set on shattering records with 814 yards and 42 catches. If he keeps this pace, an MVP award might not be out of reach, although quarterbacks typically win it. Nevertheless, he has the potential to outshine all competition.
Christian McCaffrey can give Tyreek Hill a tough fight
Another WR, whose name is equally being discussed at this stage is Christian McCaffrey who plays for the San Francisco 49ers. McCaffrey has also produced a lot of threat to the opponents and can be a non-QB MVP winner. Both will give each other a tough fight.
In six games, McCaffrey has covered 553 yards and has registered 110 carries. He already has seven touchdowns. Both the Dolphins and 49ers have the same record of 5-1 in the league. It is to be seen now whether any of them emerges as the MVP winner.
