Russell Wilson is having the worst season of his NFL career
Last night’s game against the Los Angeles Chargers was a disaster for the Denver Broncos– and Russell Wilson seems to be taking the heat for the poor performance. Shannon Sharpe had quite the ‘sharp’ words to throw at the QB, and most of them were not nice.
“Again last night he was terrible. And now they’re coming up saying he might have had a hamstring issue. It seems like everytime he plays bad, they come up with an issue. If you think about it, a couple of weeks ago, he had the lat, last night his hamstring bothered him.,” said a furious Sharpe, asking what these ‘excuses’ had to do with the decision-making.
“Russell Wilson is not seeing the field very well. He’s playing even worse than he’s seeing the field.” The disappointing performance is affecting the team as well, particularly the offense. “The defense is getting nothing- NOTHING- from the offense.”

“What are you doing? Do you not see the field. $245 million, this is what its gotten them. 5 touchdown passes in 6 games. He’s 30th in completion percentage. The worst scoring offense in the NFL.”
“When are you going to put a stop to it?” he asked the coach, stressing that the HC must either ‘coach it or condone it’. Russell’s score was 3 of 11 for 15 yards- which earned quite displeasing reactions from both.
“I don’t know what’s going on with Russ, but he seems to have a lot of other things on his mind than football,” said Sharpe. “I’ve never seen Russell Wilson play this bad in my entire life. Not as a rookie, not as a sophomore, not as a five-year vet- even last year when he was down. RUSSELL NEVER LOOKED THIS BAD,” said Shannon Sharpe’s stinging words.
