Sharpe worked with Fox Network for the last 7 years, where he co-hosted the popular sports talk show Undisputed with Skip Bayless. Shockingly, Sharpe reached a buyout deal with the Network and left the show following the 2022-23 NBA finals. The reason for Sharpe’s exit from the show is unknown, but it is widely believed Sharpe was fed up with his co-host Skip Bayless’ antics.

And now, Sharpe is rumored to be in talks with ESPN for a new contract. The popular ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith has also been vocal about wanting Sharpe to join him on First Take. But nothing has been official yet. Nevertheless, with just a couple of weeks to NFL kickoff, the sports world will soon find out the 3-time Super Bowl Champion’s next destination.

Ever since Shannon Sharpe’s surprise exit from Fox Network, the Undisputed host Skip Bayless has been working on finding his replacement. The show has been halted temporarily and is scheduled to return on August 28.

Amidst this, a report by the New York Post suggests that the former Seattle Seahawks cornerback Richard Sherman is expected to replace Sharpe in the popular sports television show.

Sherman is known for his outspoken personality even from his playing days. He certainly has the potential and charisma to replace Sharpe as the verbal sparring partner of Bayless in Undisputed.

Still, it is not official and Sherman hasn’t inked a contract yet. According to multiple reports, Sherman has agreed on a verbal deal with Fox Network. He will also keep his job on Amazon Prime Video’s Thursday Night Football show.

Apart from Sherman, the American Hip-Hop artist Lil Wayne will also be a part of the newly renewed Undisputed show. Wayne will be part of the sports debates and will appear on the show on Fridays.
