Shaquille Leonard, the now ‘former’ linebacker for the Indianapolis Colts showed a great gesture by passing on Turkeys to the Indianapolis locals on the eve of Thanksgiving. He was spotted with a bunch of packaged Turkey meat and passed it on to the people who came in touch with him by driving their cars on the road.
A video by a netizen recorded the moment depicted the former Colt’s activities. It soon went viral on Social media and netizens applauded him with their words of praise.
The development came a few days after the Colts have waived him off in a surprising move. The linebacker used to be one of the best players for the Colts. However, their relationship witnessed a drastic decline in the last few days as the LB criticized the team publicly for not providing him with adequate game time. The tiff resulted in the permanent removal of the LB from the squad.
Shaq is the ultimate competitor and has been a fan favorite since he arrived as a rookie in 2018--We are incredibly grateful for his contributions to the team and the city of Indianapolis over the last six seasons. Despite the temporary bitterness, the LB did a great job by providing turkeys to the streetgoers. When he was asked about the event, the LB said he wanted to thank everyone who was behind him in good and bad times.

As a reaction to the termination, Shaq thanked his former team and their staff. Despite the tussle he was having, the LB did not shy away from acknowledging his experience and good time on the team.

Leonard was a 2018 pick by the Colts. Since his first day in the town, the LB started doing what he was capable of. Earned the Defensive Rookie Player of the Year award. He finished his Colts career with 614 tackles, 17 forced fumbles, 15 sacks, and 31 passes defended.
His stint would have been much longer if he had not suffered injuries. The LB almost missed the entire 2022-23 season. He had been injury-prone for long. The 2019 season was also marked by multiple injuries.
