Shaquil Barrett and his wife Jordanna Barrett recently went through a tragic event involving the death of their 2-year-old daughter. The Barretts held on to strength and kept going with their lives. However, the universe works in mysterious ways. Shaquil’s wife, Jordana, is pregnant yet again, and the family is expecting another daughter.

Jordanna announced her heartwarming pregnancy on Instagram and thanked God for blessing them with another child, again a daughter. Their 2-year-old daughter Arrayah lost her life after drowning in the family pool. However, the Bucs linebacker’s wife believes that Arrayah had a special role in picking the daughter that is about to enter their little family.

“A few weeks after our sweet girls heaven day, Shaquil and I found out we were expecting! I just know Arrayah had a special hand in picking this sweet girl to add to our family! We are so beyond blessed, so beyond grateful that God chose to give us another little girl! We miss our Arrayah every second of every day, but I rest in knowing she’s going to be the best big sister angel to little miss Allanah!” Jordanna wrote on Instagram. “Arrayah has given me hope. She has changed so many lives with the short 2 years she blessed this earth.”

Shaquil Barrett‘s wife was also extremely grateful to God for blessing them with another baby girl and believes that the universe has plans for everyone. The couple has decided to name their unborn daughter Allanah after her sister Arrayah.

Shaquil Barrett’s wife trusted in God when things were hard

In her recent Instagram post, Jordanna Barrett spoke about her trust in God and how the universe has a plan laid out for anyone. Despite losing their daughter just two months ago, the Barretts have been blessed with another baby girl.

The NFL linebacker’s wife praised God and Jesus for blessing them with another baby girl and believes in the complete beauty of life despite all the hardships.

“Through the worst of the worst, he turns and uses ALL things for good. I will trust when it’s the hardest, and praise him through all things good. His plans are far more better than my own and always always will be,” Jordanna stated.

As the former Broncos linebacker prepares for another season, Shaquil Barrett’s second daughter is due in the month of February 2024. She’ll be the youngest of the 4 children in the Barrett family.
