On Sunday, the San Francisco 49ers, led by their second-year quarterback Brock Purdy, faced Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs. The high-octane Super Bowl game between two top teams in the league had everything in it, from touchdowns, music, and even some streakers.

In a short video that went viral on social media, two shirtless people could be seen running around the field, before security got hold of them and pinned them to the ground. The incident caused a bit of delay in the game and was not broadcast on television.

The short video of the streaking incident went viral on social media and accumulated more than 84k views within just hours of posting. Check out the footage attached below.

Streaking incidents are not a surprise in sporting events. But, this time it didn’t seem they were doing it for any cause or as a form of protest. It seemed like it was two shirtless drunk guys running around the field cluelessly. Nonetheless, the security detained them and they were taken off the field. The game continued after that.

As mentioned, the Super Bowl had everything. The halftime performance by Usher, Ludacris, and 5-time Grammy Award-winning artist Alicia Keys was a hit among fans. Even ESPN personality Stephen A. Smith chimed in to praise the artists for putting on a wonderful show. However, preparation for the halftime show took longer than usual, which angered some people.

Chiefs secured their second-straight Super Bowl ring

On the sporting side of things, Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs managed to defeat the San Francisco 49ers in their Super Bowl game on Sunday. Mahomes won his third Super Bowl ring in just 6 years as a starting QB.

The game, which went overtime, ended with the Chiefs securing a 25-22 victory over the Niners. Mahomes completed 34 of his 46 pass attempts for 333 yards, 2 touchdowns, and 1 interception. As a result, he ended up winning the Super Bowl MVP for the third time in his career.

So, the Chiefs became the first team to win back-to-back Super Bowl rings, since the New England Patriots did it nearly 20 years ago. Mahomes already has 3 Super Bowl rings, 3 Super Bowl MVPs, and 2 league MVPs in his resume, which puts him in the top 3 QB lists of many people.

On the flip side, Brock Purdy and the Niners failed to prove the critics wrong on Sunday and they crumbled under pressure in the second half despite leading for the most part of the game. Now, they will enter the off-season, where they will try to figure out what went wrong for them.
