The NFL is embroiled in controversy yet again, first, it was the sexual harassment case of Deshaun Watson and now Matt Araiza is accused of gang-raping a 17-year-old minor. The incident happened a year ago when Araiza was still at San Diego University. According to a civil lawsuit filed against Bill’s punter in San Diego County Superior court.

According to the lawsuit, Araiza who was 21 at the time had sex with a minor at an off-campus party held at his residence. The lawsuit stated that Araiza brought her inside a room where at least three other men were located, and she was reportedly raped for about an hour and a half before the party was shut down.

And that’s where I’m headed. And that’s where we need to be headed.” The head coach also stated that the priority right now is to find the truth

Matt Araiza also released a statement where he stated “The facts of the incident are not what they are portrayed in the lawsuit or in the press. I look forward to quickly setting the record straight.”

“I don’t hear the outrage for this as they had for Deshaun Watson”: Twitter is enraged with yet another case involving sexual assault and they want action from the concerned authorities against Matt Araiza

Before Matt Araiza people were asking for action against Deshaun Watson for sexual assault who got an 11-game ban from the NFL. Araiza will be looking at a more severe punishment if the claim turns out to be true.

Twitter believes that Bill’s Punter should be ridiculed and booed as Deshaun Watson has been. Some also pointed out that young people can’t handle fame and they think, they can get away with anything wrong on so many levels. Strict and immediate action needs to be taken to teach the accused a lesson.

Some people even pointed out that the NFL should suspend Matt Araiza until the verdict of the situation is out, but some people thought that the claims can be false and that they should wait until the whole ‘truth’ is out.
