Jalen Hurts is one of the best young and coming quarterbacks in the NFL. Just last weekend, Hurts had his first NFL playoff win when he led the Philadelphia Eagles to a victory against the New York Giants in the divisional round of the NFL postseason. Furthermore, the Eagles’ HC Nick Sirianni gave Hurts an ultimate compliment as he compared the QB to the NBA legend Michael Jordan.
The third-year quarterback was having an MVP-caliber season with the Eagles before he went down with an injury. Moreover, at one stage, he was considered doubtful for the divisional round game. However, the QB managed to play through his injury and helped his team not just win but to put out a statement by dominating the G-Men in their divisional matchup.
Eagles HC Nick Sirianni was very impressed with Hurts and he couldn’t help but compare him with the Chicago Bulls legend. “To have him out there is like, I know this is high praise, but to have him out there is like having… I shouldn’t even go there… it’s like having Michael Jordan out there,” Sirianni said.
“He’s your leader. He’s your guy. Hopefully, that’s the biggest respect I can pay to him comparing his ability to being on the field to a Michael Jordan type. This guy leads. He brings this calmness to the entire team. He plays great football. He’s as tough as they come. Yeah, I mean, to me, nobody has played any better football than him this year.”

Speaking on his show UNDISPUTED with Shannon Sharpe, Skip Bayless said that he was a Jalen Hurts believer from day 1 itself. “I’ve told you before, I tweeted the moment they stole him in the second round that they have just stolen their future,” said Bayless about Hurts.
“I told you he would change life in Philadelphia because he is their leader, he is their playmaker. I second the emotion of Nick Sirianni, I don’t think it’s too far to say he is our Jordan, he is not Michael Jordan in performance obviously because he didn’t throw for 600 yards in this game. He did Jordan-Esque things when they needed to get done,” said Bayless about Nick Sirianni’s comments.
On the sporting side of things, Jalen Hurts will indeed have to deliver a Jordan-Esque performance for the Philadelphia Eagles to secure a win against the red-hot San Francisco 49ers in the NFC conference championship game.
