Caleb Williams is once again a heavy favorite to win the Heisman Trophy and bag the national title as well. He is also in line to be the No. 1 pick in next year’s NFL Draft. Following Williams’ 272-yard and four-TD performance against San Jose, the panelists on Undisputed called him one of a kind. They each believe that the 21-year-old has the capability to become the best. Skip Bayless, on the other hand, stated that he is the polar opposite of Tom Brady.
“This kid is the polar opposite of Tom Brady. Almost all of his splash plays come on improv, where he’s breaking the pocket,” Bayless said of Williams. “His legs are stout, and he has tree-trunk thighs.”
The veteran analyst argues that Williams’s build is very misleading. According to him, on television, he looks taller, but he is only six feet. Despite not being a tall guy, the Washington native is physically strong. He can hold his ground really well against the opposition’s defenders.
“He’s got this ‘make you miss’ in him,” Bayless continued. “If you get just one hand on him, you’re not going to be able to throw him down.”

Can Caleb Williams win the Heisman Trophy in consecutive seasons?

If Caleb Williams can win the Heisman Trophy this year, then he will equal the record set by Archie Griffin in 1974. Griffin, who starred for the Ohio State Buckeyes football team, secured the No. 3 spot in the national rankings. The running back played four seasons, rushing for 5589 yards and scoring 26 touchdowns.
In addition to the Heisman Trophy, Griffin was awarded the title of National Player of the Year twice. He played for nine years in the NFL. The former first-round pick lined up for the likes of the Cincinnati Bengals and the Jacksonville Bulls (now Jaguars).
Williams is on course to achieve a similar feat in his career, and Emmanuel Acho believes that he can. According to the FOX analyst, football has changed over the years, and so has the demand for what kind of quarterback teams want.
“A great quarterback now, the prototype, the archetype, is Patrick Mahomes,” Acho told Skip Bayless on Undisputed. “Tom Brady, I don’t believe, is the current archetype of quarterback. It’s no longer the 6-foot-5, 225-pound [rather] It’s the 6-foot-2 1/2; can you run a 4.7 40-yard dash, and can you throw off time?”
However, for Caleb Williams to replicate his college numbers in the NFL, he needs good players around him. There have been so many great college quarterbacks over the years who did not make it professionally. Troy Smith, Andre Ware, and Rick Mirer, to name a few.
