The final week of the 2022 regular season is about to start and critics and fans have started to take their pick of the winners who will go on to star in the playoff. One game that everyone in the league will have their eyes set on is the Packers-Lions game on Sunday.
Aaron Rodgers is in the stoplight once again regarding his retirement and Week 18 being his last home game at Lambeau Field. The Packers have significantly improved from 4-8 and have reached a .500 winning percentage. Green Bay is in need of one win to clinch its spot in the playoffs.
Everyone is placing their bets on Aaron Rodgers and the Packers winning against the Detroit Lions well because it’s Aaron Rodgers. However, Undisputed’s Skip Bayless believes the Lions will snatch the victory from right under the Packers’ nose.

Skip Bayless is confident the Detroit Lions will win and make it to the playoffs
The Detroit Lions are second in the NFC North and have the same record as the Packers. They are also one win away from a playoff spot. Skip Bayless while in a talk with Shannon Sharpe said that it seems like everyone has already concluded the game by saying that Aaron Rodgers will lead Green Bay to the playoffs. “I got this theory that inevitably works – IN the realm of sports when everybody says and I can’t find anybody that’s picking the Lions because they are the Lions,” Skip said. He went on to explain that if everybody thinks the Packers are going to win then it’s the Lions that are going home with a W.
The Detroit Lions are 6-3 in their last eight games and are on a hot streak. During the span of these eight games, they are 2nd in the NFL in points scored, 3rd in points differential, and 1st in fewest giveaways. Lions quarterback Jared Goff has been exceptional these past few games. He has thrown 15 touchdown passes and zero interceptions compared to the 14 TDs and 7 INTs he had until Week 12.
“I love how it sets up for Detroit. Nobody believes they will win and there is little to no pressure on them and all the pressure is on the home team to do what everyone says they are going to do,” Skip added. “I’m gonna be the lone wolf on this and I just got a feeling that Detriot will win.” Skip Bayless further added that Lions head coach Dan Campbell has a great locker room presence and the players look up to him which also plays in the favor of Detroit winning on Sunday.
