Following a humiliating end to their 2023 campaign, the Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones claimed he would go all in during the 2024 off-season to strengthen his team. However, Jones hasn’t put his money where his mouth is. Jones and the Cowboys haven’t made any significant moves in the off-season so far, which has p*ssed off so many, including the longtime Dallas fan Skip Bayless.

The Fox Sports analyst and long-time Cowboys fanatic Skip Bayless took to social media to express his frustrations with Jones and the Dallas-based football team. He used just four words to express his disappointment with his team’s lack of moves.

His post expressing his frustrations came after the Cowboys stayed quiet while other teams were making moves to address their team needs. 15 players from the Cowboys squad are set to hit free agency and 4 of them have already signed deals with other teams. However, the Cowboys haven’t re-signed any of their star players.

The only move they made in the off-season was re-signing their long snapper Trent Sieg. They lost their starting running back Tony Pollard, who signed a three-year deal with the Tennessee Titans. However, they haven’t signed a veteran RB yet to replace him. The star RBs who hit free agency have signed deals with other teams and now the Cowboys would have to settle for whoever is remaining in the market.

The Cowboys were expected to rope in the veteran RB Derrick Henry, but they failed to give him a good deal. According to multiple reports, Henry was a ‘Little too rich‘ for Jones.

Skip Bayless sounded off on Jerry Jones over lack of off-season moves

As of Wednesday, the Dallas Cowboys remain the only team in the entire league who haven’t signed an outside player. Jerry Jones‘ lack of actions has obviously enraged many, including Skip Bayless.

During a recent episode of the Fox Sports show, Undisputed, host Bayless sounded off on Jones. Bayless also took shots at Jerry’s son and team boss Stephen Jones.

I believe that yesterday was Jerry Jones' favorite day of the NFL calendar because he can get more attention than he gets all year and not even open his mouth. . . Jerry gets to sit there and wink at Stephen and say, 'We got this. We're going to show them all. We're smarter than all of them.'

Nonetheless, there’s still a lot of time left in the free agency. Jones might be currently focused on restructuring the contract of Dak Prescott, which would help him spend some money on free agency.
