The Fox Sports show, Skip and Shannon: Undisputed garnered a very loyal fan base over the course of seven years. It was among the top rated sports shows in the USA. Both Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe had great chemistry with each other and gave their fans some great content. It was confirmed after the NBA Finals this year that Sharpe will leave Undisputed. He recently joined the ESPN show First Take and will be seen alongside Stephen A. Smith.
Since the departure of Shannon Sharpe to ESPN, Bayless and Fox Sports have confirmed that Michael Irvin, Keyshawn Johnson, and Richard Sherman will join him on Undisputed. Bayless is excited about this partnership and took to Twitter to call this his ‘Dream Team.’
Fans have had a negative reaction to this news. Some have suggested it won’t be as great as the previous edition that featured Sharpe. Bayless is used to a lot of negative trolling, and this won’t bother him.
Irvin and Bayless are both Dallas Cowboys fans, and fans on Twitter are dreading the possibility of them only talking about the Cowboys on the show. Let’s collectively hope that’s not the case.
The new so-called ‘dream team’ will debut tomorrow on FS1. Sharpe will appear on the First Take show for the first time on September 4. It will be interesting to see how both Bayless and Sharpe are fair with new team members. Fans, though, have given their verdict.
Stephen A Smith ‘not happy’ with Michael Irvin joining Skip Bayless on Fox Sports
Stephen A. Smith will have a new partner on First Take in Shannon Sharpe. The first show will air on September 4. Smith, though, is not happy with his former partner, Michael Irvin, joining Skip Bayless on Undisputed. On his The Stephen A. Smith Show, he explains why he isn’t happy with the change and suggests that this development won’t scare him.
“I’m not happy” Smith said. “Some of you damn trolls out there have acted like I’m supposed to be quaking in my boots because of the new lineup. I don’t roll like that. I don’t give a shit about competition. I live for it. And as far as I’m concerned? Let’s get it on.”
Smith and Sharpe will be an interesting pairing to follow. Smith has acknowledged that he is excited about the partnership and is looking forward to creating something exciting with Sharpe. Bayless will be joined by former First Take guests, Michael Irvin and Keyshawn Johnson. He will also be welcoming Richard Sherman to his show.
