“Most valuable team you should NEVER trust”: Skip Bayless EATS DIRT yet again as the Cowboys falter to the Buccaneers

Skip Bayless and Tom Brady
Oh when will Skip Bayless learn? The analyst has for long been one of the biggest Tom Brady fans that the universe has seen but at the same time, he also is the biggest fan of the Dallas Cowboys, a team that may be the most valuable one in the entire USA but is also the one that lets people down the most. The last time Dallas won a championship, was in 1996. Michael Jordan had won his last ring then, Michael Irvin was still playing, and the team had a Head Coach who was not a joke.
Last season the NFL scheduled the Dallas Cowboys season opener against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, to their credit they actually came close to winning the game but at the end, Tom Brady sealed the deal for Tampa. This season as well, the NFL decided to go with the same opening day fixtures for Tampa and Dallas but this time the results were nowhere close to last years outcome.

Following Dak Prescott’s thumb injury, the Dallas Cowboys went into a downward spiral:

The Cowboys had a bad start, there is no better way of putting it. Dak Prescott completed 14 of his 29 passes and recorded one interception while having no touchdowns at all. His thumb injury could not have come at a worse time as the team was already behind. Cooper Rush, the team’s backup played fairly average completing 7 of 13 passes and throwing for 64 yards.
In what is touted to be a make or break season for Ezekiel Elliott, he had a rather lax performance with just 10 carries for 52 yards and no trips to the end zone. Tony Pollard did not show up either as he had 6 carries for 8 yards in total. CeeDee Lamb got the ball twice and had 29 yards.
The entire Cowboys squad did not show up, at best they played average and no trips to the endzone is not a goo look for any team let alone Dallas. Tampa on the other hand came out all guns blazing, Tom Brady showed us yet again why we do not need to be concerned about his off the field issues as once he wears that uniform it is nothing but tunnel vision from that point on. Brady threw for 212 yards, had an interception, and a touchdown as well. That was enough to put Dallas away.
Skip Bayless always finds it hard to decide when Tom Brady faces off against the Dallas Cowboys, as a lifelong Cowboys fan, he sure does want to stick by America’s team but he also knows what Tom is capable of doing. So it’s about time we replace How bout them Cowboys to What bout them Cowboys because though it is unfortunate that Dak Prescott got injured and may be out for the next 6-8 weeks, the team may have just given its fans a boon. Stop believing in the Cowboys and save yourself from being disappointed is the lesson that Skip Bayless and other Cowboys fans should have gotten loud and clear following the loss to Tampa.
